I was born and raised in Bristol CT. From there moved all over the East Coast! I’ve lived in Franklin MA, where I went to Dean College for Communications, also, Columbia SC, Atlanta GA, Jacksonville FL, and of course back up to Torrington CT…and I will never leave again! This is home! I’ve been in Radio literally since I was 18, it’s what I do!!! (thanks to the support of my parents.) I started at Radio 104.1 WMRQ in August of 2009 – and almost instantly, I felt better, my skin cleared and I lost 2 dress sizes! It’s that good! I have two amazing boys Pierce (14) and Tyler (11) - who are the ROCKSTARS of my life! They make me laugh and inspire me each day!   I love to run races, work out, go camping with the boys, spend every moment with my best friend/husband, Neal – who makes my life in radio really easy! I love shoes, I love to write, I love jeans (I own 27 pair) I even love to write about jeans!

Best quality: To joke with everyone - even if you don’t know me – you’ll think we grew up together!

Most proud of: My kids – there is nothing greater!

Favorite season:  Garlic Powder and Adobo. Oh season? I thought seasoning!

My favorite hobby: Running! All you need is a good pair of sneakers and a long road ahead! I can’t afford any other hobby!

Favorite place to relax: My home with everyone in it!

Favorite food: NACHOS! Is there any other food?

Favorite dessert: Ben and Jerry’s Turtle Soup.

The one thing I would change about humanity: If everyone could just be kind to all. Everything thing else would fall into place.

What I enjoy the most: Watching the boys play baseball, finishing a road race, a big salad with everything in it, a glass of wine at the end of the day with Neal, eating al fresco and going to the Bahamas!

Favorite colors:  Grey. It’s the new Black!

Favorite television show: Embarrassing enough – Keeping up with the Kardashians, Giuliana and Bill, really anything on E! or on Page 6! I’m a pop culture, celebrity news junkie!

I'm most comfortable: On the couch watching a movie with my boys, or sitting on the porch at the end of the day.

Why am I a DJ?  I love music! It’s the background of my life! My Dad was in a band for most of my life, you’ve heard of The Beatles? Lol – REALLY! I was always watching him play and practice with the band. I loved being a part of it. I’ve watched how music can bring smiles to people’s faces, bring some to tears, and bring people together. Also, I thrive on finding fun facts! Anything that might make your life better or easier – are so interesting to me – and I love to pass it on to you!

Most unusual radio gig: Bungee jumping at a live remote!

If I could stalk one celeb, who would it be? Of course Angelina! She’s amazing and a true humanitarian!

Craziest thing I ever did: I ate 17 bowls of Frosted Flakes with my cousin. I also auditioned for look a like contest of Fran Drescher from ‘The Nanny!’

The thing I most remember about my parents: They’ve been my biggest supporters my entire life. Not so long ago I had the opportunity to introduce an artist in front of about 25,000 people. When I was on stage, I could see my parents a few rows back. And it made me proud - because, I couldn’t be who I am – if it wasn’t for their support! My parents are so giving and kind to all!

The thing I admire most in a person & myself: Someone who stays true to themselves. It’s really easy to change yourself to please others. But someone who really believes in themselves is most admirable! For me, I love that I am completely selfless when it comes to my boys. I adore them so much – that I can honestly say that my life – is for them.

Something not many people know about me: I change my hair color often. I like change! I can also do impersonations of Steve Urkel, Snuffaluffagus, Marge Simpson and I can sing the ‘McDonalds Menu Song’ from the 80’s in its entirety!

My most unusual job: I did TV commercials in Jacksonville FL. I still have the “tapes.” I was horrible!
